Planning and preparation was important as the research I carried out helped me to produce my product so it would suit and attract my target audience.
Organisation of time was important to make sure I completed each part of the work in the correct amount of time and something I think I did well as my production was complete before the deadline.
Looking back at my preliminary project, I think I have improved my skills greatly as my coursework product looks a lot more professional and thought about.

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Being able to use 'new technology' and the digital SLR cameras was an important factor to help me produce my media product effectively and quickly. Using the digital SLR cameras also meant that my images were high quality, which was needed as my magazine was aimed at middle/upper class people who would expect high quality images and pictures.
Being able to use InDesign and Photoshop meant that i could create the black and white saturated effect on both my front cover and contents page.
Using blogging has helped me keep track of what I have learnt as I have been able to look back over my preliminary project and learning how to improve my skills from this.
I have used websites such as google images to get ideas for interesting magazine layouts and designs.
In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

My media products double page spread is similar to that of 'Clash' magazines double page spread layout, using two columns with an alley separating them. My media device layout differs from that of Clash magazines as it has quotes from each artist over their images.

My media products front cover is similar to that of 'Clash' magazine as it is unique and different to most magazine although it keeps the same principle ideas, being in black and white and having a bar over the models eyes, whereas 'Clash' has an unusual designed background.
My media product is similar to that of 'Clash's' media product as the cover lines are minimal and grouped together at the bottom of the front cover, not taking too much of the readers attention away from the bled picture boost which is the main attraction for the readers.
My media products font is similar to that of 'clash' as it is thin, unusual and serif, attracting my target audience as they prefer unique things.
